Datavail Expands Database Administration Team with New Hires

Increasing Demand Early Indication of Success for Recently Founded Company

DENVER, COLORADO – Datavail, a managed database administration provider that acquired Stratavia in January 2008, has early indications of success and has hired three additional senior DBA experts.  John Kaufling, Patrick Gates, and Prakash Bhandari will take their place in the growing company and bring a wealth of knowledge to the already impressive roster of industry leaders.

Patrick Gates joins Datavail as Director of Oracle Database Services and will contribute his expertise to the present Oracle DBA team.  As a former Senior Architect and Senior Manager at Level (3) Communications, he brings valuable experience in database architecture and a background in the corporate data warehouse.

John Kaufling will take place as the Director of Oracle Applications and will oversee support of the Oracle E-Business Suite systems.  With more than 12 years experience as an Oracle EBS database administrator at Level (3) Communications and Oracle Corporation, his specialties include implementations, upgrades, and extensive capability to support the product.

Prakash Bhandari, Datavail’s new Senior Technology Director, will be responsible for implementation and continued development of database monitoring tools, including the Data Palette platform.  Bhandari was formerly an Information Technology Manager at Corporate Express, an international business supply company.  An obvious asset to the team, he brings 11 years of experience creating architecture and infrastructure solutions and is an expert in the Open Group Architecture Framework.

Datavail is proud to welcome these new additions to the Datavail family.  Their expertise as leaders in the database administration field will continue to improve the quality of service that Datavail provides as the company continues to grow.
