Oracle BI Applications: Understanding Levels of Customizations

Oracle BI Applications (OBIA) customers who have had a successful implementation of the analytics solution know that to see material value in their investment, customization (i.e.: tailoring) through extending the OBIA solution is a must. Customization is needed in order to align the Oracle BI Application module’s out-of-the-box (OOTB) commercial-off-the-shelf (COTS) solution with each Oracle customer’s business.

It is also necessary in order to stay consistent with existing customizations of ERP or CRM systems on which the Oracle BI Application solution will be based.
